1. Greetings and salutations, people.  Thanks for coming aboard (the boat).  Back after no time in the last couple days to rant.  Not in a rush, but going to move through this thing relatively quickly.  Going to close my eyes for a bit on the flight back to Denver.
2. This is not being edited, so forgive any grammatical errors.
3. First of all, I am not hosting a Floyd Mayweather party this weekend. Hosting a party in general just sounds like a lot of work, no matter how casual the party is.
4. Here is hoping that I can steal your readership better than Rex Chapman steals Apple products.
5. Here is hoping you are handcuffed to the hooks like James Blake outside a bank.
6. Here is hoping you have as little power to break away than…WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAA. That wouldn’t have been the thought to get this moving.  Moving on…
7. My work trip had the chance of being extended one day (but wasn’t), so therefore I don’t have to worry about being on a small plane without WIFI when the Steelers-Pats game was on.
8. I have a date with my couch for that game.
9. The state of men’s tennis on the American side is dismal to begin with, and it is SO frustrating to see guys like Isner get so close but not be able to make it over the hump. Federer took out Isner pretty efficiently.  No one big time is really on the horizon for the USA.  I don’t get it.
10. The Nats swept the Braves, were only four games back, and at press time had dropped the last two against the team they are trying to catch. That is way too talented of team to be on the outside looking in.  I never saw this late season swoon coming with the level of talent on that roster.
11. The end score was bad, and Ohio State is really, really good, but thinking Va Tech covers that spread with a healthy #1 QB for the entire game.
12. I bet someone odds that Andy Murray would come back and win his last match when he started two sets down, and although it got a little exciting, he and I failed.
13. I played pool last night and really stunk it up-not sure what was going on. Maybe months being in between my playing nights is not the right plan of attack and that PRACTICE would be good.
14. I am not going team by team in analysis, but if you put a gun to my head and told me to pick the final four NFL teams, I think I would go with Indy, New England, Green Bay, and Seattle.
15. Yes, Denver would be my next chosen team.
16. Thinking Green Bay over Indy for the title.
17. No prizes for anyone, but I lied last time so you never know.
18. Nice to see Azarenka having a solid tournament at the US Open.
19. I still tend to think that Serena-Venus Williams matches are mostly scripted. I thought more that way at the beginning of their careers.  Tougher these days, and tough to figure out when they play as they know each other SO well, that points don’t come together in an exciting way as we probably want.
20. I have new shoes. More boat shoes I love and more sandals I can’t wear to work.
21. Yes, Drunk History is just a LITTLE bit funnier while having some drinks than without, and you should watch it regardless.
22. Love Ballers the show, love the theme song, and it was definitely worth a look this season.
23. You don’t have to like sports to love the show, but it helps. You should catch up before you get multiple seasons behind.
24. Plus, that other guy is just funny in EVERYTHING.
25. That Halep match a couple days ago was horrible to watch. Lots of breaks, limited aces, unforced errors, am I missing anything else?
26. I try to explain to Lindsey how Sister Christian by Night Ranger literally just took over the airwaves but I can’t do it justice.
27. Congrats to Sarah and Brian, who are now engaged officially. Great people and solid relationship.
28. I was talking to my fraternity brother, Scott, on the phone during my fantasy draft. I had my player queued up, pulled the trigger, and then found out Yahoo already picked the Steelers D out of my queue (went through and flagged everyone before it started) in the FOURTH round.  My team never rebounded after that lost pick, so now I will have to maneuver better than everyone on the wire.
29. Yes, Steelers D. I never want fantasy football to interrupt my watching of my team.  I don’t want to be hoping they give it to their RB when it is 3^rd and 19.  But, having the Steelers D really means I am just cheering for my TEAM in general.  Even IF they have a crappy defense that can’t stop throws anywhere.
30. Somehow I still ended up with Reggie Bush for like the 7^th straight year.
31. Yes, Tsonga lost, meaning my semi prediction of him finally winning a Grand Slam title is wrong for the 20^th time in a row.
32. I say semi prediction because I already went on record with Federer, and just said Tsonga is my sleeper pick.
33. My rule is “adjective animal” bars are usually the best out there, so when I had a choice to drive 90 minutes there and back into Yosemite and probably see a view filled with smoke because of the fires OR go to happy hour at the Dirty Donkey in Oakhurst, you know who won.
34. And I still haven’t seen a Redwood in my life.  NEXT time I am going earlier just to do that.  It was 45 minutes from where I was.  Couldn’t sneak it in.
35. Fresno Airport now moves into my top airports in the nation. It follows my major rules.  No internal train between terminals.  Gas station RIGHT next to airport as I have problems finding gas stations before returning my rental.  No shuttle TO the car rental place.  Rental cars IN terminal.
36. I didn’t see a McDonald’s though, so it gets docked for that.
37. It is official. The pseudo name Jim makes sense and Ralph is character worthy.  So, when a guy at the Dirty Donkey couldn’t remember Marty’s name and called him Rudy, well let’s just say it all came together.
38. Ralph, Jim, and Rudy, with Chris an honorable member.
39. I am in a loser’s pool, am very aware picking my team might be the safest bet but I won’t do it, and this week is TOUGH. Road favorites or marginal games.
40. It was announced that Ronda Rousey has a role in the remake of Road House. She will do well as the…wait, screw that thought.  There is a remake of Road House coming out????  That is AWESOME.
41. No USA Today read throughs on this one as I want to close my eyes for a bit. Hope you enjoyed or are at least more informed.  Will I blog tomorrow?  That is a CLOWN question, bro.
