2. My brief notes from Game 5.
3. This is really an interesting NBA Finals MVP race thus far.
4. Tyronn Lue is so polite to the media. Guess he might have to win one as a coach and THEN become a jerk.
5. I admit to not fully thinking through after Bogut went down that they really have no other talented big bodies on their roster. So weird watching Barnes and Iggy playing center.  McAdoo not quite ready or big enough.
6. And Bogut will miss the rest of the series, so someone has to step up.
7. Hey, Draymond Green, I love you, man. And I get that you might not have lost Game 5 if you were there, but YOU put your team in a precarious situation because of your actions, even if I don’t think it deserved a full game suspension.
8. I am not totally sure what hits Andy Grammer has put out, but his national anthem stunk.
9. I felt bad for people on the East Coast last night-LONG game.  Start them an hour earlier, networks.
10. Did Kevin Love’s arms used to be bigger?  Does he not workout during the season?
11. Figuring out if a flagrant foul occurs against Oscar winning Anderson Varejao is very, very tough.
12. James and Irving sure put on an all time show. Between them two and Klay Thompson’s second quarter, it was quite a game.

14. Police got the guy who threw the bottle at Ryan Howard. It’s Philly.  How did they find him?  Did they just arrest the whole town first?
15. I have a feeling one guy who could make lots of great jokes after getting the wrong name on his Super Bowl ring is Wade Phillips.

17. So, Darren McFadden said to hell with his elbow for the sake of saving his phone? What type of phone does he have?  Spaceage stuff that costs a chunk of his salary?  I think you can afford a new phone, guy out for months now.
18. Congrats to Iceland, who tied powerhouse Portugal and scored their very first goal in any major international competition…ever.
19. NHL, please reconsider Vegas as your expansion choice…not seeing that being successful, and you are the ONE sport that needs to research new cities more than the others.
20. I went grocery shopping hungry the other day and came out with old flame Velveeta cheese. I have matured as I got 2%, which makes it totally healthy.
21. Ophelia’s is a downtown place that is now on my list of best kept happy hour secrets. I am talking about places you wouldn’t expect to have great deals and you should take advantage of them.  It’s not that the prices rock, it is the prices in relation to what they typically cost and the quality of the food and drink.  Gumbo’s is captain of this team.
22. I am getting summer movie backlog. Already backed up with Finding Dory, Now You See Me, Secret Life of Pets, and Conjuring 2.
23. My opinion on the Ichiro thing?   I don’t care what he did in Japan, although I respect it.  A record is a record, and made for the same league.  What if?  He would have had a LOT and maybe been close to Rose.  But, we don’t know, different league, and let’s all move on.
24. Wow, the Eagles really jacked up this Von Miller-Broncos situation by giving Fletcher Cox so much GUARANTEED money.
25. Yes, A.P., we know the Vikings will be in contention this year, and apparently you feel the need to remind us bi-weekly.
26. Good for the Rockies in designating Reyes.

29. Battlebots is BACK. Watched the original one years and years ago, and pretty sure I WANT to watch the new one but that technology has advanced so far that the robots would be so capable that it might be a little boring.

31. John Calipari says coaches know what goes on with recruiting. When did people start asking Calipari all of these random questions about other situations and publishing his answers?

33. On the eve of the US Open, my picks OUTSIDE of the obvious contenders are one of these guys…Koepka, Matsuyama, Kuchar.
34. It was so much nicer when I was a Jason Day fan and he hadn’t won anything.
35. I LOVE the US Open.  Rotates courses each year, the hardest test in golf, deep rough, bad scores.  LOVE it.  If you need me this weekend, I will be on my couch.

37. Friend of a friend of a friend of an owner? This is where I was last night.  And before you ask, NO I didn’t stay for the late game stuff.  School night.  But the seats definitely made me pay attention to every at bat while I was there.
