Catch of the Day

Quick hitter today.  I wrote a good amount yesterday.

HOOK:

I love the way the draw sets up for him, and I like how he is playing in 2015.  Andy Murray I think takes Wimbledon.  Djokovic looks like a machine still, but I believe Murray gives his home country another countrymen win.  On the women’s side, I am not sure how you bet again Serena these days.  With no real flaws in her game, AND with the fast grass courts appealing to her power, she wins another one for the calendar slam.  Sloane Stephens will make some noise though.  I see a deep run by her also.  Sloane misses Serena in the draw for a while also.

“Shows.”

Pretty sure I could just live on HBO television.  With my addiction to Game of Thrones being obvious, I then follow that up with Silicon Valley and last year’s True Detective.  I finally watched this year’s.  I like it and will continue to watch it, but it also makes you remember just how special last year’s was.  Last year was genius, and I assume this year’s will just be very high quality with Vaughn and Farrell.  I also started on Ballers, and liked it much more than I predicted I would.  Think Entourage with football.

As we scroll through rumor after rumor in NBA free agency (well, I do), I noticed an oddity today I wanted to share.  Everyone really is overpaid anyway, but don’t jump TOO high whenever reading about Joe Johnson rumors.  He will be paid 24.9 million next year.  This for a guy whose last three years have been 16.3, 15.8, and 14.4 points per game.  Scary.  It is one thing to take a player off of someone’s hands, but a whole different animal when you are taking on a possible shell of the former player.  I thought Joe Johnson would continue to be great.  Ended up just another guy who got paid.  Someone REALLY would need a shooter to snag him.
