Catch of the Day.
All golf, all the time on Major weekends…
Not much time today, folks…busy day, and too much to do tonight.
HOOK:
I guess that three putt didn’t bother Dustin Johnson as much as I thought it would. But I should know better. He has the PERFECT game for this type of course. He can shorten ALL of these many par 4’s, and has the full game to take advantage of that power. #1 in driving distance. And he goes home to this.
LINE:
What is odd here, people? This is the leaderboard when I am writing this. Look at the yellow highlighted area. That is the only person ON the course at the moment with a good score, and the weather most likely will just get worse.
In case you need to eyeball the older folks who might peek their head into this one, here is the 2010 leaderboard when this tourney was last played at THIS course. Interesting to see guys like Goosen suddenly just come on the radar.
SINKER:
What is there to say about Tiger? Limited time, so I will be brief. If you fall ELEVEN strokes behind the leader in perfect conditions on a course where you have won TWICE and fits your game perfectly, then your swing is NOT ready.
Maybe Nick Faldo should announce AND play tomorrow:
And in case you care, and with a budget that obviously doesn’t allow me to grab Spieth, Johnson, Stenson, etc. all together, here are my three lineups. I am hooked on this thing.
That’s it for today. Talk to you tomorrow. Peace.
