Catch of the Day.

I have moments where I think I don’t care about Tiger doing well, but then he teases me.  He teases the tournament attendees.  He teases the television viewers.  He teases the players.  And, you know what happens?  Buzz happens.  I had an incredibly productive morning since Lindsey left for Mexico (scouting wedding venues) early and I just decided to do everything I needed to do this weekend.  Anyway, I got done and sat down to work and watch TV.  Then, I realized Tiger was in the LEAD of a tourney.  Here I am enjoying Tiger play the course and still in the lead on a Saturday.  The announcers are excited.  The crowd is huge following him.  You can love him or hate him.  He makes golf MUCH more interesting.

LINE:

“Showdown.”

Sure, it is not the Olympics, but a heated showdown is coming tomorrow possibly.  Justin Gatlin and Usain Bolt are on a collision course for the 100m finals at the world championships.  Not saying I am setting my day around it, but IF I happen to be around when it is going on, it will be must see TV.  Bolt is Bolt, and Gatlin has been steadily coming back since being banned for doping years ago.

SINKER:

Not only is Joel Embiid out again for year after surgery, but docs in the Sixers camp HOPE he can be back OCTOBER of 2016.  Set yourself an Outlook reminder, Philadelphia.
