1. Greetings and salutations, people.  Thanks for coming aboard (the boat).  There is a semi speed version, a speed version, a super speed version, a not on the clock version, and a lightning round.  Today is the super speed version.  One sentence hooks as I have things to do.  In and out, no pictures, in 30 minutes.
2. What I have to do is my fake fantasy football draft, where free beer is served unlimited because we held our fantasy football league at a particular bar, the dues were for the bar tab, and we sit around and pretend we are drafting fantasy teams even though we all have it set to autodraft.
3. I believe 8 pints a person in two hours beats our record from two years ago.  I will do 10 to be safe.
4. This is unedited, folks…not time, so excuse grammatical inaccuracies.
5. Computers, tablets, and all…quite a show for the fake fantasy football draft.
6. It is quite a brilliant idea.
7. This happens every Labor Day, when we get into the lull of not much going on in sports and then BOOM, I can’t keep up.
8. I love it.
9. Don’t worry about Michigan, as although the energy is awesome, Harbaugh still needs HIS players in there to do the things that HE wants to do on offense and defense.
10. Worry about Rafa, as the end is near.
11. Think about Nadal in this way; he is like Allen Iverson as his court coverage was so incredible and covered some limited faults, that when he lost a step, he lost like three steps.
12. I was impressed by the run Minnesota gave TCU the other night, and although it was the first game of the season for everyone involved and was a little sloppy, I am watching that game film if I am teams about to face TCU.
13. I typically give picks before football Saturday, but will have to start next week, as there is no time today.
14. Bob texted me asking if I was watching the Serena match, and I wasn’t too worried about it (for another round or so), as she will lose sets this Open, but destroyed her opponent in the third set.
15. Leyton Hewitt’s exit from tennis was gutsy, classy, and genuine, just like the dude himself.
16. Bryce Harper had no official AB’s, no swings on the ball, but scored 4 runs…you do the math.
17. I am personally sad that Tim Tebow will have a job at the end of this weekend.
18. Well, not sad he has a job, but sad the job will be of the QB nature.
19. That Baylor-SMU game was sure exciting until Baylor…became Baylor.
20. Since the 49ers released Dockett, I should check out their defensive depth chart to see if anyone is left that I actually have heard of.
21. Jackson, my cat, is an alarm clock after we throw him out of bed routinely at 3am each night, but God forbid if we had one of these door stops as I am sure this would be right up his alley.
22. Human is one thing, but another 75, Jordan?
23. Maybe he is doing the golf Major version of Nadal about 3 years ago and only concentrating on the important ones.
24. I think me and a couple million people are so happy Venus Williams is still playing in New York.
25. Wow-Madison Keys and then her SISTER for Serena?
26. That is a crazy next two possible rounds, people.
27. The Venus match would be torture not knowing who to root for.
28. Nice showing, Western Michigan.
29. Someone pick up Steve Weatherford, please, as he is the captain of the “punters are not pansies” team.
30. I admire the end result of Floyd inviting the first female position coach in the NFL to his fight, but I think it is unfortunately nothing about what he feels and all for show.
31. I sneeze more than once twice a month, and the over under for consecutive ones in 5 minutes is still about 15.
32. No Nebraska football fact today, Marty, but I will have two in my next blog-in a rush today.
33. I am confused why the media is telling us who is trying to pick UP Patrick Kane when we don’t even know if he will be behind or in front of bars yet.
34. Stop the press…Gary Busey is on Dancing with the Stars.
35. Seriously , STOP the freaking press.
36. Shark Tank is a show that I believe I could just watch over and over and over, as long as it was not a repeat.
37. Watched the 2010 Marcus Dupree story last night, and wow, what a sad story that is.
38. Fred Jackson SHOULD have a job in the NFL, 34 years old or not.
39. And he does.
40. You are reading the wrong blog if you are looking for updates on soccer “friendlies.”
41. The Skins keeping RGIII is insulting to him, the system, and to fans.
42. I see Louisville scaring the shit out of Auburn but losing.
43. I see Wisconsin scaring the shit out of Bama but losing.
44. I see UVA NOT giving UCLA a run and losing by more than the 20 point spread.
45. (Yes, I will be more exact in my scores next week when I have more time)
46. Arizona State will go to Texas A&M and win in one of the better games this week.
