Catch of the Day.
HOOK:
“Thoughts.”
-If the Bills are right about this QB, they might be scary when it is all said and done.
-They looked good overall, but have the Chiefs STILL not thrown a TD to an actual receiver yet?
-The Super Bowl loser next game semi-curse continues.
-The Bengals could not lose a game all year, and we still won’t care until Dalton wins a couple games in the playoffs.
-CRAZY ending to the Giants-Cowboys game, and VERY stand up AND odd that Eli says he told his RB not to score.
-The Eagles look HORRIBLE so far in this MNF game.
-I agree with Peyton in that it doesn’t matter the stats and the Broncos got a W against a VERY good team.
-Well, Bears fans, your team gave you a little hope in that loss to the Packers.
-Not sure if the Titans are any good, or if the Bucs are that bad.
Too tired to write more. We have all season.
LINE:
“Negative.”
Sad we lose three prime time receivers for a couple weeks in Dez Bryant, TY Hilton, and DeSean Jackson. But it does give me an opportunity to go back to one of my favorite double negative lines in a long time. DeSean, I don’t feel no one can stop you while you aren’t playing. Still not sure how that reads, buddy.
SINKER:
“Fo.”
I didn’t talk about Moses Malone and his sad passing from the weekend. I grew up outside of Philly and the town was electric when he became a 76er. He averaged a SOLID 12.2 rebounds for his entire career. He was a three time MVP and a one time champion with those 76ers. I remember Andrew Toney being my favorite player on that team, but we all knew what made that team go. During that run, he said the immortal words “Fo fo fo.” He was close. They dropped only ONE game in three series on their way to the championship.
That’s all for today. Go watch some football. Peace.
