Catch of the Day.
HOOK:
“Proof.”
I checked out the power rankings today for the NFL and noticed three teams near the top that have to be thus far, but most people wouldn’t be true believers quite yet. Interesting games coming up this week for all three. Skipping past the obvious NE and GB, we get to Cincy, Denver, and Zona. Should be fun this week, as the Bengals have a hungry and reinvigorated Seattle coming to their crib, the no offense Broncos go TO Oakland to take on a now dangerous Raiders squad (and a rivalry game), and the Cards and their wins against a teams with a total of three wins go to a pissed off Detroit team who might have lost on a bad call against the Seahawks. This season is too young, and we are about to find out a lot this weekend.
LINE:
“Cubs.”
I don’t like the one playoff game format, think it is ridiculous the Yankees had to play a one game playoff last night against a team they finished better than after 162 games, but that is neither here nor there. I will be rooting for the Cubs tonight, and not sure I need to with 22-6, 1.77 ERA Jake Arrieta going to the mound.
SINKER:
“Four”
Not cool “fo” like Moses Malone, but uncool “four,” as in how many bar attendees and employees exiled Auburn WR Duke Williams punched this weekend. Kid has been given a couple chances, and this might just be his last one at Auburn overall, let alone playing football.
That’s it for today. Talk to you all tomorrow. Peace.
