Quick one today since I wrote a lot yesterday…

I wasn’t personally a full believer yet, but everything was going right for the Gators this year.  Impressive wins, unblemished record, and in control of own destiny in the SEC with a freshman QB at the helm.  Will Grier’s suspension is not the end of the world by any means as there is plenty of talent on that team evidently.  I WILL say that replacing him probably means a speed bump or two and might take away any playoff hopes.  Shame about that kid messing up.

LINE:

“Steel.”

Stepping outside of my homer box, here is what I think about tonight’s game.  No, don’t expect a lot of targets at Wheaton, Brown, and Miller, as Mr. Vick better be handing it off to Bell and Williams (only when Bell is tired) a LOT.  My concern is that with Gates back, the Steelers and their anti-playmaking ability might give up a lot to Allen and Gates.  And they might.  But, I say turnovers are the difference tonight.  I say Bell has a solid game, and Vick doesn’t lose it for anyone.  I think the Steelers get to Rivers enough to force a fumble or interception or two.  The D bends but doesn’t break throughout the rest of the game.  Tomlin doesn’t have any decisions to blow tonight.  Steelers win and are their typical Monday Night Football self and win 27-13.

SINKER:

I love the baseball playoffs more than a lot of people out there.  Please find another way, MLB and networks.  You add teams to the mix and then I get screwed working while fantastic baseball is being played in the morning and afternoon.  Hate it.  Redo the schedule, please.  Jam them in on weekends and in the evening.
