The Royals won a classic last night, and even came back on the Mets closer.  It was a crazy enough game that somehow you start thinking this Royals team is one of destiny.  Not really.  They were here last year and are that good.  Cueto is their one pitching rental.  It probably said in his contract “win Game 2 of the World Series for us.”  I like Cueto and the Royals to take Game 2 also.  The Mets will show their scary pitching depth when they go back to NY and make this more like the six game series it will be.

LINE:

“24.”

Geez.  Can someone TELL me when I am watching Game 1 of the World Series that Curry will score 24 points in the FIRST quarter of his first game, really showing post title rust?  I ask for small favors.

SINKER:

“Quiet.”

Sammy Watkins is quickly starting to irritate me.  Whether he is asking for more targets after MISSING games on the field, or arguing on social media with fans about their complaints on his injuries, it is getting old…and he is young.  Take a step back, Sammy.  You have AMAZING talent and we all know that.  Go about your business, put together some good games, and THEN perhaps go public again.  For now, shhhh.
