On the clock. Not an airplane rant, although I am in an airport.  Early evening rant.  Semi-speed version.  Let’s turn and burn.

1. Greetings and salutations, people.  Thanks for coming aboard (the boat).  I sit in a middle seat for this flight, so there will be no room, so let’s clear the list for today, semi-speed style.  And my flight is delayed 2.5 hours, so I guess I should write longer,  but I won’t, because I am not a happy camper right now as airport time waiting is wasted time in a lot of ways.
2. I am impressed, Denver people. Very, very impressed.  I thought you all were eating it last night against the Packers.  But, you came to play, and in very impressive fashion.  Sure, I could say “you were supposed to defend home field,” but that is silly, and you beat a very good team to say the least, meaning YOU are a very good team.
3. I thought yesterday was leading into waking up today with a Broncos loss and a Steelers win…I didn’t get anything.
4. AND it is on the wire you just picked up VERNON DAVIS??? Very, very nice, his skill set is still there in the right offense, and you just might be that offense.  A change in scenery would do that guy good anyway.
5. The Steelers had many, many chances to win that Cincy game. I said Ben was throwing high the entire game, so fitting the final pass attempt sails out of the end zone.
6. Losing Bell is obviously adding insult to injury, and not really ready to discuss yet.
7. Just press repeat, you all. Seattle’s defense keeps them in a game, the offense JUST makes enough plays, and they win.
8. The Cowboys are either the worst good team or the best worst team I have ever seen.
9. Besides the Eagles…
10. And the Giants…
11. And the Skins…
12. Getting out of that division, the Lions are very confusing also.
13. Dammit, I just realized this delay is going to make me miss the WHOLE MNF game.
14. After I wrote a blog yesterday, we went to Beast and Bottle, and you Denver people need to GO if you haven’t already. Great, great food.  A little pricey on the menu, but the product makes it worth it.
15. Andy Reid goes to Philly and the Phillies win the World Series. Andy Reid goes to K.C., and the winning starved Royals win the World Series.  Maybe Theo needs to have the Bears go recruit Mr. Reid.
16. You Mets fans can second guess your manager all you want, but Harvey is your stud, and was still throwing heat in those late innings.
17. And the better team won the World Series.
18. I realized I dressed an entire night as a piece of bacon and we didn’t get one, single picture.
19. I wonder about dumb things, and really, really want to know how much Ozzy Osbourne makes every time they play Crazy Train at a stadium or arena. Hey, not sure how these things work, but I told you about my neighbor a couple years ago who made $233 every time his 20 second Snapple scene was on an aired Seinfeld episode.
20. Every time I want to say society overall is good, smart, and anything positive, I find out something like the following. Supergirl is the #1 show on TV?
21. The Giants-Saints game was literally a video game, and SO not fair that after those two QB performances, the end is decided by a kicker on a kicker penalty.
22. Drew Brees got me 72 freaking fantasy points.
23. Beamer Ball is coming to an end in Blacksburg. Class coach, almost champion in 1999, and stealer of about 90% of all top recruits UVA should have gotten.
24. I might try this Movember thing, well, until Lindsey tells me how idiotic I look with a weak attempt at any mustache.
25. I had a goatee for about 5 years, and STILL mad at people for not telling me how dumb the mustache attempt was.
26. Ohio State revoked JT Barrett’s summer aid. I guess they have to do SOMETHING, right, without stopping a run at a title?
27. Shame about Lockette. Exciting player to say the least.
28. Tonight is the Panthers everyone wanted to write off before the season and the Colts who everyone said had a Super Bowl shot before the season. Please clear some things up for us tonight, OK?
29. Apologizing is a start Sammy Watkins, but just reel it in and showcase the unbelievable talent you have to put on display.
30. I have lots to say about the college basketball preseason rankings released today. I will make that a hook for tomorrow.
31. That’s it for today. Quick one tomorrow, and then a laundry list most likely on Wednesday.  Hope you enjoyed or are at least more informed.  Will I blog tomorrow?  That is a CLOWN question, bro.   Off to Austin.  Peace.
