We can talk about the Ole Miss final play that would have changed the landscape.  We can talk about where North Carolina should fall if they beat Clemson.  We can talk about the lack of a Big 12 Championship game.  We can talk about how BAD Florida has looked recently, and yet they still could win the SEC Championship.  We can talk about Stanford’s schedule and what they deserve.  Here is the deal.  For YEARS we want a true champion.  Bottom line is this.  If Clemson and Bama take care of business, there is really no one who can complain out of the top 4.  They had their shot.  We will have the best 4 freaking teams.  We don’t even have an undefeated non power conference teams we have to talk about what ifs with.  Here is hoping we get that and no unending debate.

LINE:

Yes, the Big Ten made it even through the first night, but two games really mattered in the long run.  The Cavs won against a young, learning OSU team and still lack offensive punch.  Anthony Gill needs to raise his level of play to what we all expected before the season.  UVA’S defense will carry them far, but to get to a title, they need more obvious weapons to show themselves.  Damn you, Justin Anderson, for turning pro.  Hope Dallas is treating you well, and you continue to get your 2 points per game instead of helping the Cavs to a title.

In the MD-UNC game, there was some unbelievable shooting in the middle part of the game.  In a game that could well be the national championship, MD continues to look bad from a chemistry point of view, and committing too many turnovers.  Both teams will mature, and both will be scary in March.  The better team right NOW won last night though.

SINKER:

“Goodbye.”

Goodbye to a legend, goodbye to not winning a game, and goodbye to alone nights.  Philly fans were actually nice for a night, saying goodbye to their homegrown Kobe Bryant.  After starting out hot, he posted a stat line that was less than stellar.  7-26, 4-17 from 3, 2 assists to 3 turnovers, a -21 plus/minus and 20 points.  The Sixers won though, so now we can move on to important things like figuring out if they can be the worst of all time (will be hard since they reside in the weak Eastern Conference).  And Mr. Okafor.  If you haven’t checked out the newest TMZ video, you should, and dude DOES need a security guard to shut HIS trap.  This is a second fight of the night, and he is definitely the aggressor in this one.  http://www.tmz.com/2015/12/02/jahlil-okafor-fight-second-video-boston/

One other note, don’t be too blown away by the MONSTER contract David Price just got from the Red Sox for pitching every five days.  Zack Greinke’s will be higher here shortly per year.

And in case you care, Luke Walton is 0-0 in coaching thus far, while Steve Kerr is 19-0 and home.  Not right.  Can we have your dad talk about it at a press conference or something, Luke?
