Catch of the Day.
HOOK:
“Broncos.”
Well, the Broncos will make it tough on my Steelers next week, so I am not longer a temporary Broncos hater as they are out of the equation. What a turnaround last night. The Bengals owned the first half for the most part. Then, more no huddle on the Broncos offense, more zone on Broncos defense, and wha-LAH…we had a game. Brock had a couple huge drives to solidify his job, and Ed Hochuli’s mistake on the fumble/ INT turned into the next play fumble game winner for the more deserving and better overall Denver Broncos. Fun game last night, and congrats to Denver fans.
LINE:
“Chapman.”
We can talk about how they are the Yankees. We can talk about his off the field problems. We can talk about the number of prospects given up, and how that number would have been higher if not for his off the field exploits. Without overthinking this, I will just say this. While Aroldis Chapman still has that live arm, it will be fun seeing the kid throw 100 plus in end of game situations that really count for the next couple of years.
SINKER:
“Cousins.”
DeMarcus “Tirade” Cousins had another incident the other night. Dude is one of the most talented headcases we have ever seen. His stat line is stellar:
But these stats still dictate he needs to stop losing it, no matter how much the fouls refs are calling on him are baby fouls. To tie this all up though, I think the funniest thing is how his deranged teammate comes into play on this matter:
That’s it for today. I feel like the story “coach to talk to Manziel about video” has been out there for a long time, so maybe we can chat tomorrow before they chat. One final note is a funny tweet I saw this morning:
Will I blog tomorrow? That is a CLOWN question, bro. Peace.
