KEEP THE FAITH

Listen.  Take a breath.  This thing is not out of control.  More proof why 2-3-2 sucks, but technically we are right on schedule.  If you are supposed to win the home games, the Royals are all set to go.  Did I think it would align like this?  No.  This series has gone EXACTLY the way I envisioned except for the 4-1 comeback and rout by the Giants in Game 4.  I assumed Bumgarner would win his two.games.  So, we have this now.  3-2 and going back to the friendly confines of Kauffman.  The Royals thrive on defense and running, and those traits will be amplified with a pumped up, and now slightly stressed, crowd to support them.  The bullpen is embarrassed about the other night and will lock down things once a lead is given to them.  I might be wrong about this, but I feel pretty darn good this thing is at least going seven games.  Defense, depth, bullpen, speed.  Bumgarner is done.  The Royals like Jake Peavy.  We all like the rookie flamethrower Ventura.  Kid will have no fear and crowd will get him a few more 100 MPH pitches.  Royals still will take this in seven.  Kool-Aid. Consumed.

And go Skins tonight.  Smell that?  I smell a trap game.
