Catch of the Day
One hook an one hook only…
I will be watching the World Series and waiting for the first college football committee rankings, but the NBA opens up with too many story lines to mention in a one hook day. I have let it marinate for a couple weeks and still am left with Cleveland over the Bulls in 6 or 7 games in the East. If Cleveland’s big three stays healthy for most of the way, then I think the LeBron factor will outweigh any defensive prominence, toughness, or depth the Bulls bring to the table. Only other teams worth talking about would be Toronto, Washington, and the Heat, and I think Washington is the only one of those three that could put all of the pieces together in a 7 game series. In the West, it is madness. I think the Spurs get out athlete’d by someone in the end, The Durant injury could linger, so although I thought it wouldn’t affect my opinion more, it did. Because, you need home court advantage to beat these teams out West and I think the Thunder lose a couple of needed games in the long run to get it throughout the playoffs. I think the Warriors have the most upside as a dangerous team with Bogut now, but my final picks preseason are Clippers over the Spurs in 6 games in the conference finals. I think Chris Paul shows Mr. Irving in The Finals he is still the best PG in the league and to wait his turn, but that the home court advantage is key. Give me the Cavs over the Clippers in 7 games, as I think the Cavs will have home court advantage from playing in the East and that will be a huge plus. But know I WANT to go Clippers. Enjoy a great sports night, you still haven’t proven anything, Tony Romo, and talk to you tomorrow. Peace.
