I thought it would happen, and I am not an idiot. Kentucky, I believe ,(I don’t have time to look it up) ranks 345th or so in the nation in experience on their roster. All conference games are tough. I thought if you gave them ONE underdog who gave them a run, they would cave. I definitely thought if you gave them TWO in a row underdogs who gave them a run, they would cave. I was wrong. A&M gave them all they could handle today. But, they at least were smarter down the stretch than Ole Miss. Rule #1: When you have a chance to beat a much better team on one play, do NOT go to overtime. Rule #2: Always follow rule #1. Props, Kentucky. You had a couple McDonald’s guys foul out, you were up against it, and you still prevailed. Who would have thought we would watch Ole Miss and A&M basketball tape to figure out how to beat those guys?
LINE:
“Shootout.”
I admit that the ND-UVA basketball game is more important to me. I can’t watch everything, people. I am hitting “previous” at commercials but admittedly am not watching the full roll of the Ravens-Pats game. Someone tell me how it felt WATCHING it. They keep scoring, and I keep ignoring it because of this basketball battle.
UVA is in a BATTLE, as I expected. If you put the #2 defense against the best shooting team in the nation, something has to give.

Dick LeBeau retires. Man, you have not had the players of years past, so I hope it isn’t because “the game has passed you by.” You are a class act who developed a defense that was about 80% of the 70’s Steelers teams (that is the highest compliment I can give a defense). Happy trails, and I enjoyed having you running our defense for these years.
I have been waiting around for years waiting for Chris Johnson to get busted for something. Today was my day. Yay.
