Catch of the Day.

HOOK:

“Chaos.”

I am a college basketball junkie, but admit to staying ALL about football yesterday.  Wrong move and I should have been more diligent with a flipper show/ channel/ event.  Anyway, with UVA surviving a tough road test against Notre Dame, they now are stealing a couple first place votes from Kentucky after THEIR close calls.  It wasn’t who lost yesterday.  It was the surprising opponent in each case.  NC State over Duke?  Oregon State over Arizona?  Rutgers over Wisconsin?  There are PLENTY more games to be played, but that is an amazing threesome of losses in one day.

(my apologies to Logan for texting him in a conversation for an hour without realizing his team Duke had lost)

LINE:

“Want.”

I want the first college playoff game to be a classic.  I want the dangerous front seven of Ohio State to give Oregon fits.  I want a great fourth quarter that keeps us guessing.  Wanting is nice in life.  I can wish, want, yearn, and hope all I want.  I want to be wrong.  But, I am not feeling that, and I think we watch a late third quarter-early fourth quarter coronation of Mr. Mariota.  Oregon rolls.

SINKER:

“Peyton.”

I was harsh with the Broncos fans on the day of the game.  Sorry to all.  Now, it comes out that Peyton was playing with a hurt quad the last month or so.  I almost hopes he comes back to go out in better style, but that 2015 season must look LONG right now.  I HOPE he comes back because I love sports and great athletes.  I simply want guys like Peyton to play forever.  He is a joy to watch play the game.  Then I think a little more.  If I am a Bronco fan, I ASSUME I DO want him back, right?  Don’t know personally.
