My games of interest tomorrow:
Louisville at UVA: They can hang with them on defense, and UL’s lack of offense helps. UVA has good ball handlers to break the press. UVA is at home. UVA needs this home win to solidify that the Duke loss was just one loss. UVA 61-53.
Kentucky at Florida: I know Florida doesn’t have the lineup to match UK. But, I think Billy Donovan does fancy stuff. I just have a feeling. If there is a chance that Kentucky loses this year before the tourney, this is it besides maybe LSU. I am calling the upset. UF 64-63.
Notre Dame at Duke: Fun that Notre Dame is exciting offensively, but Duke is at home and has more talent. Duke 72-60.
Georgetown at Villanova: I am not a believer in Nova, but am not gutsy enough to TOTALLY call the upset. Nova 71-69.
KU at Oklahoma State: I am not predicting an upset, but I will say that OSU will give KU a scare. KU 75-68
Baylor at WVU: Hmmmm. I think WVU is a sleeper in the tourney, young, and unafraid. WVU 63-59
Gonzaga at San Fran: I remember when Santa Clara was good and gave Gonzaga ONE good run in conference play. They KIND of did I guess, but…Zags 73-59.
LINE:

Adam Silver is open to changing the NBA playoff structure, and I am down with the idea. Division winners and 6 teams from either conference.
I don’t know Chris Paul personally, but I have a feeling he was just complaining about the refs in general. I am with Becky Hammon.

I am announcing my first two “new”: Rant Squad new recruits officially today (in my last blog, people, so keep up). It is a Rant Squad, so therefore it should be listed under “sinker” category. Names and minimum qualifications (per old rules, three are needed, but you can’t go to prison for a long time because you can’t get additional incidents) are below. Godfather Mike Tyson has been consulted on these initial inductees.
