HOOK:

The hook is Ronda Rousey vs. Cat Zingano. I am actually hosting a watch party since A) I am sure I would spend $50 if we went out and B) I am lazy and like my house during snow. Rousey will win in the mid second round, although I will be happy if the Denver chick wins. Listen, to review what I have already said, I just haven’t seen proof that someone can take Rousey. You might hate her, but she has revolutionized the sport and works hard. Zingano is a local and a great story, but I just can’t see Rousey losing. This gives me an excuse to show my favorite picture of her.

-BUT, that all might change if Rousey wins and we get Cyborg-Rousey in the next chick fight. That is the equivalent of getting Mayweather-Pacquiao three years ago when they both were in their prime.

-As we enter into Nadal season in tennis, we don’t care that Federer wins some tournament against Djokovic.

LINE:

“Tough.”

Watch the UK game today, people. If not to watch Kentucky get a mild test, then because you might have Arkansas advancing further in your bracket than you think now.

-“Police find stolen NASCAR car.”

SINKER:

“Tough.”

Anthony Mason earned his way into the NBA as an undersized PF, got his team to the Finals where they lost to Hakeem and friends, and was a player we could all love for his effort on the court. He exemplified what Pat Riley was.

-As in ten years. I bumped a table last night at dinner and knocked over two glasses. I was THAT guy. For the record, none of the alcohol spilled. Only the water glasses. If you live in Denver, go to The District, my favorite new place. Great food Great atmosphere. Tell the bartender, Bo, I said hello. I took a picture of something on the wall there, and not really sure where the tables are at St. Mark’s.
