Catch of the Day.
HOOK:
“Layoff.”
The Cavs look kind of good, and the Hawks maybe finally just lacked that super star element. The Hawks can now try to solve the age old question of getting more talent or letting your guys mature and the system do its thing. The Warriors will beat the Rockets at home tonight and create the longest break ever for both teams. Seven days. Kind of ridiculous, but you have to plan the Finals ahead of time I guess. I am the biggest Rockets fan on earth today if I live in Cleveland. I need them TIRED to have a shot at Splash 1 and 2.
LINE:
“Lines.”
The Blackhawks will make some changes to their line tonight as we head into a HUGE Game 6 in Chicago. Might as well. You have to win now. I like them toying around with Toews and Kane on the same line for a period or so. I either have to apologize tomorrow or continue to build you up for a BIGGER Game 7. Blackhawks win tonight 4-2. Score will be close until the Blackhawks get an empty netter.
SINKER:
“Tie.”
Three way. The FIFA story will only get worse, and I will wait until more comes out to comment. The story about the 4 year old daughter of Indians Mike Aviles having leukemia is slightly helped about his teammates all getting hair cuts or shaves in tribute. The fact that only 24 public schools are “self-sufficient” is kind of scary actually. The figures don’t include some major incoming sources of money, but the fact the ACC can’t get ONE in that category is troubling.
THE GAME:
First of all, I don’t have the time (or the money if I make them too easy) to do daily questions that aren’t too personalized OR aren’t on Google. It was a heck of an idea, but I would need an intern for that creation. Anyway, I will be doing them one or two times a week. Same deal though. The time in between will allow me to make them more fun. And, I have to guard myself from redundant answers. For example, I didn’t like someone could pick Magic over Oscar and still get same number. These things will be corrected moving forward.
YESTERDAY’S: My brother nailed it, and I was impressed.
TENNIS: Mats Wilander, and best year was 1988.
SIXER: Andrew Toney and jersey number was #22.
HOCKEY: Mario Lemieux and jersey number was #66. 1988-66-22=1900.
NBA QUESTION: This question will ALWAYS have problems, so just settle down, everyone. This is MY answer, and the players I leave off the team KILL me. I also took a hybrid PG/ SG as my PG, and that is my choice. Also, LeBron is not on my team although I feel horrible about that. Wilt is not either. Duncan…no. Magic? Can’t believe I had to leave him off it. It is MY team, and yes, I shifted Bill Russell to PF, but that is not a crazy, “bad” slight move.
PG: Big O (1+4=5)…only player to add a triple double for season.
SG: MJ (2+3=5)…yeah, you are funny.
SF: Bird (3+3=6)…tough over LeBron, but would have had more titles if no Magic.
PF: Russell (0+6=6)…shifting to the position he would play today anyway, and he has more title rings than fingers.
C: Kareem (3+3=6)…consistent, and the most unstoppable move of all time.
Answer is 28, or 10. No one got my number. Maybe I will give more reasons of people NOT on the team in next blog.
That is it for today. Hope you enjoyed or are at least more informed. Will I blog tomorrow? That is a CLOWN question, bro. Peace.
