1. Greetings and salutations, people.  Thanks for coming aboard (the boat).  Well, I guess the plane in this case.  One sentence hook style again.  Had work to do and now battery is almost dead  I feel the need…the need for speed.
2. We are getting closer to college football thankfully, and transfer Vernon Adams taking over the QB spot on a loaded Oregon squad HAS to be one of the top stories.
3. …well, besides whether Ohio State is going to be an all time great team.
4. It is fun hearing about NFL practice fights, but sucks as an aggressive, growing team IS going to have fights and I am sure teams would prefer to keep internal stuff…internal.
5. Sorry to hear about the Seahawks releasing the Army guy, but he was 34 and a great story, and sounds like they needed another arm on that team behind Wilson.
6. Of COURSE, your comments were out of context, Mr. 54.4 QBR since 2012, Mr. Griffin.
7. Of COURSE, your comments were taken out of context Mr…nevermind-you have two Super Bowls, so I believe you I think, Eli.
8. My Droid was an hour ahead the entire trip on the EAST Coast (Bahama time??-not sure-very irritating), so hoping it doesn’t go to Central Time when I land.
9. I have had enough Philly’s to not feel pressured to have a Philly when in Philly, so I had Mac and cheese and one of the best IPA’s I have ever had…Bullfrog Hopple 2xIPA.
10. I was perusing the MLB leaders and saw some very, very good players on some bad teams, so a shoutout to Mr. Gray from the A’s (12-5) with his 2.04 ERA, Mr. Arenado from the Rockies with his 86 RBI’s, and Mr. Hernandez and Mr. Cruz with their “needing to get to the playoffs” stats for Cy Young and MVP.
11. Wow, I really strung out that last sentence hook.
12. An off duty cop who drove Patrick Kane and friends home said it was very voluntary from the ladies side and there was no funny stuff in the car, making me lean back the hopeful way of nothing happening.
13. Of course, that doesn’t cover what happened after the door shut and we know that, but it helps.
14. Lindsey tells me when I was gone the soccer thing with the cat has now spiraled into a full fetch game…because he thinks he is a dog.
15. …which is ok with me.
16. The all time lists at each position from the bar the other night with Walt and Vince can wait until the weekend, I won’t page through the whole USA Today on this one, and I am posting this ON the plane, so understand I will come harder this weekend.
17. I had down on my list that Utley was supposed to stay with the Phillies, that apparently has changed and he is going to the Dodgers, and good for him that he can play for another winner and possibly jump start those sluggish stats a little.
18. When Jerome Simpson got his expected suspension, the 49ers were probably just glad the absence of another player was on the OFFENSE.
19. The judge wants Brady and Goodell back in court, still says this thing will be over before the season, and NOW I believe Brady’s suspension will be reduced.
20. Make sure it is at least one game, Your Honor, as the Steelers are fine with not dealing with him until the AFC Championship.
21. Greg Oden is playing overseas now and Greg Oden II/ Joel Embiid is out for the season.
22. Today I hate UK basketball (more Calipari than the program itself) more, as UVA had a guy decommit, and guess where he went?
23. I am tired today and have a little more work to do with what battery I have left. Hope you enjoyed or are more informed.  Will I blog tomorrow?  That is a CLOWN question, bro.
