Catch of the Day. Denzel.
HOOK:
“Tonight.”
I have already called my score as being 34-21, Alabama, and would just like to modify it slightly. 33-23. I think it is a close game at halftime, and Saban makes his typical adjustments. They get up a score or two and then Derrick Henry Clemson for the remainder of the game. If you line up every position on the board, Bama wins most of the comparisons. But Clemson does have team speed, so I don’t think Bama runs them off the field either. I just think Bama is a little better. I think if we DO see a great game, Watson will do something special. Like Vince Young special.
LINE:
“Playoffs.”
-I am not sure how I feel today if I am a Vikings fan. To get THAT close against that quality of team…Seattle will knock out Carolina next week.
-Aaron Rodgers finally showed a little of what we are used to seeing, and I am not happy about that if I am other teams in the NFC. I still think the Cardinals take out the Packers next week.
-I don’t care if there was winking or fake injuries. You have to be smarter than that, Burfict and Jones. Whatever works. Steelers come to Denver and win a very close game next week. Much more to come on this.
-The Pats are beat up and lacking depth, but KC won’t be able to take them down in New England. Brady finds a way to get it done.
SINKER:
“Denzel.”
Not really a “sinker,” but more just my third thing for the day. Cool tribute to Denzel last night at the Golden Globes. And, if you watched his speech, or lack thereof, you saw a fantastic family moment. No one had the speech notes or his glasses, his son is now a Twitter sensation as I guess a lot of people don’t watch Ballers evidently, the montage was awesome, and the entire moment was pure and enjoyable. Amazing the number of characters he has played.
