Catch of the Day. Five thoughts.
- The Royals are simply fun to watch play baseball. Not long ball hitters. Not waiting for walks. Jumping any ANY error you make with runs. VERY aggressive. Never worried when behind. As I have mentioned, the Mets rotation is SCARY and DEEP beyond all belief, but the Royals are just too good, people. Best hitting is presently beating best pitching, and don’t try and sell me that the Royals just won the home games they should have.
- Derek Jeter is engaged I hear. I believe that Lost Lettermen said it best on Twitter.
- The Marlins have hired Mr. Mattingly as their new manager. What makes this signing even more interesting is that LITERALLY Mattingly goes from the highest payroll to the lowest payroll (sorry-tough to fit everyone on my snipped screen). He now can learn to lead and literally has nothing to lose…and still has a beach.
- Joseph Randle of the Cowboys walked out after losing his starting job and will be disciplined by the league. Hmmmm. DeMarco is the one and only back, he signs elsewhere, your QB goes down, and you couldn’t keep your job. You can’t say you didn’t have the CHANCE.
- Tonight is steady New England vs. upstart Miami. Upstart is fun, and interim coaches are even better. You are not beating New England at home in prime time. Sorry. New England wins 31-17.
That’s it for today. Will I blog tomorrow? That is a CLOWN question, bro. Peace.
