As in be careful what you wish for.  The Vikings impressed a national offense by winning at the Packers crib in a big game, therefore solidifying the #3 seed.  What the Packers “earned” from that is a date with the middle of the road (well, overall, as they have been good lately) Redskins.  What did the Vikings “earn?”  They earned a date with the red hot Seahawks, the team NO one wants any part of anytime soon.  Sure, they get to host them, but  I don’t want any part of Russell Wilson’s house, bird, kitchen, pool, or anything else right now.

SO glad that the Steelers come to town (Denver) with a win in Cincy.  GOOD times.

LINE:

“Shift.”

Everyone.  I get this weekend was the final week of the NFL regular season.  I get you are already eyeballing next week’s games, or even the week after if you get a bye week.  Or, maybe you are eyeing who the hell Paxton Lynch is if you are a Browns fan right about now.  Bottom line, all that stuff is GOOD.  But, tonight, go home after the work/ gym/ whatever, and turn the tube on OU-KU for two hours.  You will see the best kept All-American secret in Buddy Hield from Oklahoma, along with one of the most balanced teams in the land in KU.  It is in Lawrence, so it won’t be easy for OU, but watch the game tonight and be pretty sure that one or both of the teams will be a Final Four team in March.

Or, turn the channel to ESPN2 and see UVA, which will also be in the Final Four most likely…

SINKER:

I don’t even care if you were in Vegas or not, Johnny Manziel.  I don’t care if the Instagram post was supposed to throw us off.  I don’t care if you missed your medical appointment because you were getting back from Vegas late or if you just didn’t feel like going.  You are a joke at this point.  Ship this guy to Dallas as I assume Jerry still wants him as a backup or third string behind Romo, and let’s let all teams get on with their lives.
