Catch of the Day. Thank you, Rex.
Read it, don’t read it, I don’t care…just needed to get some things off my chest.
In no particular order of chronology or importance…
On the clock. Not an airplane cast. Early evening cast. Semi-speed version. Let’s turn and burn.

- Greetings and salutations, people. Thanks for coming aboard (the boat). Relatively quick one today. I feel like not being on my computer for the evening before hitting the new year in stride at work tomorrow. Let’s move.
- JJ. A couple pops a long while ago. Quiet day/ weekend, and Pittsburgh being in the playoffs is really all I need today.
- I feel like James Harrison has saved the Steelers a bunch of times over his broken up career with the Steelers. That goal line INT was key today earlier in the game when cousin mo was trying to change squads.
- Obviously, that wasn’t today. That was the time he saved us when I fell of the couch years ago.
- Writing this during the fourth quarter of the Broncos so you have context of timeline. Basically during this adorable Peyton entrance for the struggling offense.
- Hope he leads them to victory as it is wrong having an HOF’er on the bench.
- The Chiefs just keep plugging along in a not pretty, but efficient way. Currently beating the Raiders.
- I keep looking at the Seahawks-Cardinals score waiting for the bug to be figured out. Crazy the Cards laid down like that at home with something on the line. Who wants the Seahawks in the playoffs?
- The Browns couldn’t even wait until Black Monday to fire Pettine? I get making a decision, but can we let the sun down on the last loss first?
- And GM too?
- False alarm. Tom Coughlin had his whole family at the game today, yet no big announcement. Maybe he IS waiting until the sun goes down.
- He has two rings. What does he care?
- I think Lindsey said it best today. I would feel worse for Cowboys LB Sean Lee for being inactive, bringing him below the 80% mark of snaps played during the year, and therefore losing out on $2 million in extra salary…IF his base wasn’t already $3 million.
- I think Doug Pederson would also be a decent Eagles coaching candidate, but I still don’t think that is who they are looking for (already said Duce Staley wasn’t a good fit this weekend).
- Hey, Eagles, Mike Pettine is available.
- Sad to see Derrick Rose getting another MRI…
- My interest in this Broncos game is high aside from me living here. Denver, Cincy, and KC are still all in play as far as a possible opponent next week.
- Hope Joey Bosa likes the state of Tennessee…
- I see his LB buddy, Darron Lee, also declared. The middle of the Buckeye defense better get reloaded quickly.
- Well, not even close to any rings yet, but always nice to get a Jordan scoring record, right, Jimmy Butler? Nice 40 point half, sir.
- I admit to being home Saturday, doing some other laid back stuff, and being too lazy to check on the Oregon-TCU game.
- Apparently, I was missing a great UFC fight also. Guilty, but that would have cost money or required me to go out that night, so a little more of a stretch.
- I was watching Minions. Decent movie, funnier at the beginning than near the end, but they are fun characters regardless.
- You can be dislike college basketball and that would make us different of course, but tomorrow’s game at Lawrence is going to be epic, and even haters should tune in at 7pm Mountain.
- 1360 games. Long time for a team to keep Tim Duncan scoreless in a game.
- Glad to see OJ Mayo still has occasional times of his typical idiocy as he got ejected the other night for going off on a ref.
- In case you thought that one Gronk was already too much, know the next Gronk at KSU just declared for the NFL draft.
- Know that starting this week, I will be using hashtags in the blog as I start to attract more traffic with some tricks. I will try and keep them at the end of hooks, but just warning you things will be changing on this thing a little.
- Well, a LOT.
- Finally, as far as the Steelers go, THANK you, Rex, and Co., we need a meet and greet for Steelers’ RB’s if Williams is out, and look forward to being the #6 seed.
- That’s it. The Broncos game is winding down, and I am shutting down the PC until tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed or are at least more informed. Will I blog tomorrow? That is a CLOWN question, bro.
- On editing, the Broncos pulled it out. Congrats on the #1 seed, and my Steelers hope to see you in Denver soon.
