Free pizza.

Another quick one today.  My day went sideways last night and still catching up from it.  No hook, line, sinker, or river.  Let’s just move.

1. Greetings and salutations, people.  Thanks for coming aboard (the boat).  Let’s move.
2. A lot of you readers aren’t old school, when the Rant Squad was a daily mention (I actually need to get BACK to that-my bad).  Anyway, SOOOOO proud last night finding out Marcus Vick got busted for drugs.  Made my night.  He was one of my stars on the Rant Squad.  He was actually, if you recall, the official driver to the first interview, which was Sebastian Janikowski.  Ahhh, the memories of my old system.
3. I wasn’t bothered about Cam Newton rolling around on a scooter without a helmet while in concussion protocol.  I was more concerned how happy he looked trolling around the day after becoming a team that is 1-4.
4. It appeared to me last night that neither the Bucs or Panthers actually wanted to win that game.
5. KNEW I should have taken my cross sport bet of the Giants and Bucs.  Damn.
6. Game still going, but anyone doubt importance of Daniel Murphy in last year’s or this year’s playoffs?  He just tied it with a HR.  I think the Nats win the series regardless, but probably better if they take advantage of the Dodgers losing their ace’s lead.
7. The 49ers will start Kaepernick.  We all knew this was coming.  They play the Bills.  Suddenly, that game has prime time appeal combined with the Bills winning streak.
8. You might have been set up, Derrick Rose, but probably best to not be in mansion situations in the future where a girl wants to do you and two of your buddies.
9. I like the Lions pickup of Justin Forsett.  Solid player still, and needed by the team.
10. I wish I had more time to comment on Greg Hardy moving to MMA fighting.
11. I wish I had more time to comment on Big Papi’s last game.  We will miss him, but he has a plan I have read about, and he will continue to be around the media.
12. I wish I had less time to comment on Tebow helping a fan in the stands having a seizure.  Ugghhh.
13. Prizes are retired for a while.  I had $15 prize out there to deliver a one page guest blog from ANYONE today, and no one bought in.  Must be nice to not want $15.  Anyway, I realize the subscriber distribution is down, but that doesn’t stop you from doing it old school and typing the website in manually.  Your computer will even self-populate it after you do it one time.  Amazing.
14. Intern Doug is working on the subscriber-email thing.
15. Maybe Abby Wambach can bring some of that patriotic anger in here and write a guest blog.  Bet you SHE wouldn’t mind $15.
16. I hear they are making an all girl Ocean’s Eleven.  Not buying in.  It was hard enough to get over Julia Roberts being in all three of the last ones.  Especially the stupid second one where they used her as a focal point.
17. Lindsey is watching Orange while I am finishing this thing up, and damn the show is hard to not watch.
18. Listen.  I LOVE pizza.  I have developed a pizza stomach as you know.  And buying pizza is good pizza.  But, free pizza is the ultimate.  Today was a good day.  Free pizza.  It just tastes more SPECIAL.
