Galactic.
Short and to the point today, as I have too much going on. One sentence per hook.
- Sorry for the lack of time, but I was hanging out with Evander Kane last night.
- In another week or two, you will only see this numbered format twice a week.
- Some of the possible trades I have read for the NBA are kind of ridiculous, but it sure is fun having big names like Griffin, Melo, and Howard out there on the market.
- The NBA All Star Game was barely watchable overall as usual, my system is only fully watching the first (cool plays) and last quarter (when they start caring), and I really wanted to see what happened if the scoreboard hit 200.
- The dunk contest is being regarded as the best of all time and I agree as far as the level of the dunks…but, you have to take in account WHO is battling, which is why I am taking the Jordan-Wilkins one from 1988 or the Vince Carter one in 2000 as my favorites.
- Some of those dunks by LaVine and Gordon really break the laws of physics, and I think maybe it should have just been a tie.
- We ordered the works fries yesterday at Park and Co, they were delicious until we got down to the bottom level where nothing was on them, and why don’t places do a multi-layered methodology when putting stuff on fries?
- Lindsey is past level 1300 in Sugar Mash/ Candy Crush, and that sounds like a LOT of levels.
- Not sure how it all is going to shake out, but I love reading the description of what humble genuine Peyton Manning is being held liable for as far as sexual assault details.
- And never thought I would see “smear campaign” anywhere near Peyton Manning’s name, but I saw it today.
- I haven’t seen Galactic in a long time, and Saturday night is the night…no excuse to miss bands at the Fillmore when I can throw a stone that far.
- Galactic is a GREAT jam band from New Orleans I try to catch when around…jazz/ funk.
- Karl Anthony Towns went #1 and is backing that status up with 17/10 stats this season (and a 22 plus PER), and winning the skills competition against some small guys Saturday night is just another example of his really special skill set.
- If you were wondering where Jimmer Fredette went, he just got MVP of the D League ASG with 35 points.
- Steph Curry didn’t win the three point shooting contest because he is much more used to shooting from off the dribble.
- And because Klay Thompson is pretty sick himself.
- I know there is an age difference between Lindsey and I that is substantial, but little things like her not knowing Dennis Miller was on SNL really remind me about my age.
- I really dig Disturbed’s new song, The Sound of Silence…different, and gives you the taste of his real abrasive voice at a perfect point in the song to kind of make it their own version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9Dg-g7t2l4
- Marty/ Rudy, no prizes.
- That’s it. Will I blog tomorrow? That is a CLOWN question, bro.
