JAYS-ORIOLES: Well, we kind of expected it to happen with hits and excitement, and it didn’t let us down. Even to the point of a can being thrown on the field which SI and authorities are passionately chasing right now. Love it. And, even to the point of a walkoff HR. That game was stellar last night.
METS-GIANTS: Tonight’s game we hope is exciting, but no one would be surprised if this is the definition of a pitchers’ duel. With the last game mentality though, I would tune in to the end with all hands on deck. The numbers on Syndergaard are great. 2.06 in his last 7 starts and more impressively to me, he led them to the playoffs when their rotation was a MASH unit during the year. The numbers on Bumgarner. Scary. The Giants are 7-0 in his last seven postseason starts. He has a road postseason ERA of .60, lowest for anyone with 25 innings or more. Some hacks named Gibson, Rivera, Koufax, Grove, and Mathewson are the guys behind him. Wow.
Weird. The first night we expected a hit at the end. I expect a strikeout tonight to end it by someone…

-Chris Leak and Todd Marinovich are texting me mad they didn’t get “sinker” on a day one is under investigation for assaulting a minor and the other has been officially charge with meth possession, being naked, and other odd things for the NFL failure.
-I hear a couple of you aren’t getting trigger emails. I will have my intern look into it this weekend. Doug should have some time.
