In no particular order of chronology or importance…

On the clock as I am in a car heading to mountains and about to lose signal.  No, not an airplane cast.  A rare car cast (she is driving).  Friday afternoon cast.  Super-speed version before I take a couple days off for the holiday.  Let’s turn and burn.

1. Greetings and salutations, people. Thanks for coming aboard (the boat).  The car.    One more before the long weekend.  Let’s move.
2. Heading to Steamboat and wrapping this up before we lose signal. Sorry for the brevity, but sometimes these are actually better…wrapping each thought into one single sentence.
3. It is ridiculous how much B and C rated (being nice) NBA players are getting on these contracts.
4. No one will even VISIT the once perennial Lakers…wow.
5. No editing…my intern is not in the car with us-sorry for grammatical errors.
6. My thought is that Bradley Beal can have a nice career in Washington and will continue to improve on a team that can always possibly win the Least.
7. The Blazers offered low stat, nice shooting Chandler Parsons a max contract and I am turning on the radio looking to see if Celine Dion went punk.
8. I am glad Jeremy Lin is closer to his northeast crib and in NYC, and amazed he pulled $12 mil per year…must be paying him like he finished with the Knicks years ago.
9. Trump is in town…glad I am driving to the mountains.
10. Batum is staying with the Hornets, and that actually probably makes sense for both those parties actually.
11. Drummond is staying with the Pistons, and that also makes a little sense if you look at lineups.
12. Whiteside was the one person I thought would jet to greener pastures, and this proves once again that A) Pat Riley puts a spell on players when in meetings and B) Miami is really nice, which it is.
13. The Knicks make basketball fun again in that town IF they pull Noah, but I believe they are paying him on stats about 3 years ago.
14. Mozgov got $16 million per year from the Lakers, and NOW they can at least say they did ONE thing, even if that thing is overpaying a 12 and 9 player.
15. The Bird is the Word was on last night, and that Family Guy just might be in my top 3 or so…and tough list to make.
16. If I can find time in my busy next week, I will be entering the contest where you submit a lip sync of JT’s new song for a chance to hang with him for the premiere of Trolls…whatever that is.
17. JT is my #2 man crush, and my #1 man crush, Mr. Damon, also is having a contest to hang out with him for the Bourne opening.
18. Most of you who know me know that I might be the biggest Bourne movie fan there is and it is not even close.
19. I was having a drink and noticed a commercial for MacGyver, never bothered to look it up, might be interested if they are bringing that show back, and that was definitely one of my favorites as a kid.
20. I am sure I saw it out of context and it was nothing in the making.
21. I follow soccer on a country level, but was still slightly stumped and had to look him up when they said Man U getting Zlatan Ibrahimovic was a great move.
22. I am not totally caught up on sports today (had to compress a day into a half day at work), but Muguruza lost?
23. Happy belated birthday, Mike Tyson, and for those who didn’t grow up during that time, he was literally the baddest man we had ever seen and every single jaw dropped in the nation when Buster dropped him.
24. Most of us had just ordered wings when he got dropped.
25. I feel like Rolando McClain gets suspended every year, and lose track of what for.
26. REALLY sad story about the Phils pitching prospect losing his eye totally, and reading his message to the fans was kind of cool.
27. Sad we are at the tail end of Shark Week. Just make it a freaking month, Discovery Channel.
28. Slice it any way, but making FIVE Olympics for a male swimmer is pretty incredible.
29. Nice of them to put the CWS final game on in the middle of the day.
30. Forgot to post my Old Town Albuquerque pics, and it won’t be today, and I guess they weren’t that special.
31. If you haven’t seen the video of the dude hitting people on 16^th Street mall with a pipe, you need to Google that right…NOW.
32. Nice that that spot is exactly where I enter the 16^th Street Mall, and I hope that pipe swingers know I will not be the person most likely ducking into the McDonald’s.
33. SOOOO cool the Giants are letting Bumgarner to hit in an AL park instead of using a DH.
34. I keep forgetting that Al Horford is a free agent and that we should care where he goes…that’s what happens when you play in Atlanta for that long.
35. Maybe OKC should pick him up just to get the band back together.
36. I think all better jokes about Rio, volleyball, and body parts have been made, so I will leave it alone.
37. The great news about Johnny Manziel getting a four game suspension is that now that we KNOW no one will sign him in 2016, he has some time…you know…to do Johnny stuff.
38. He has to run out of money at some point though.
39. I think I have decided that my Lotaburger was better than In-N-Out.
40. Lindsey was the one who told me that Cheba Hut had a BAR, I got excited about it, and we still haven’t been.
41. Shame about Kershaw-you know he is my guy, and he better get better to continue this sick season.
42. Not sure when Iceland plays next, but GO ICELAND…down with the French.
43. I will give my more detailed thoughts on Wimbledon next time.
44. One more NBA FA thought. Dwight Howard is seeking $24 million…nice for someone who can’t play at the end of a game because of free throw shooting.

47. Theme is Independence Day because it is the Fourth and if you feel beaten or down, you can just listen to Bill Pullman’s speech about not going quietly into the night.  Pumps you UP.
