Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
Thoughts for the day…
No blog template until the subscribers are back. We had a pump fake yesterday, as the new JetPack update didn’t fix it. Let’s move…
- This week has been awesome in one way. Having college basketball occurring at all times of the day has been glorious.
- Once again, Intern Doug never came back. New one won’t be brought on until December. Sorry for any grammatical errors. No editing.
- I am not trying to split an atom tomorrow. I like the Lions, Cowboys, and Steelers. I like the Lions at home against a Vikings team trying to find an identity still, I think the O-Line is too good and will allow Dallas to easily outscore any offensive fire the Skins show, and I think no Luck means no Luck and no dice. I think the Steelers start their run to the division title tomorrow.
- Glad to see Steelers practice players are getting suspended for PED’s for games multiple times in on year. #karloswilliams
- Caught the 3 minute segment on a recent Drunk History episode where Billy Bob Thornton made an appearance. I wanted MORE. I wanted it NOT to be a commercial. But, considering people pass out on the show on a regular basis, I get that wouldn’t be political correct possibly.
- But, wouldn’t it have been epic as his rude movie was coming out? Perfect.
- I feel like it has taken a solid week for either A) Penn State alum to get mad at Mr. Levy or B) they all collectively don’t read the wire.
- Another fantastic Charlie Weis fact. The recent forfeited games of Notre Dame actually make Weis more successfully (marginally) than Brian Kelly in win percentage. The Weis trivia just rolls ON. Maybe he IS earning the dough he is earning from like 4 schools…
- You know how I talk about the late Seinfeld episodes having great plot ideas but overdone dialogue? The last few days I have rewatched them after work again and I am spot on.
- #twocatmark has been dealt a hand that is overloading him. I have one cat in a collar with one eye closed, and the other kitten is locked in a bathroom away from everyone being more neglected because we can’t chance her getting the infection. Ugghhh. One sad, one mad.
- I still haven’t decided if I would be bored or excited if Conor fights Khabib. Khabib is lighting Conor up on “direct messages.”
- I am driving up to Lindsey’s parents place tomorrow for Thanksgiving. Why am I volunteering to drive? Because then I have full power on the exit to catch my Steelers in the late game. No obstacles.
- I get the judge not allowing the losing Illinois high school to advance in the playoffs after losing on an admittedly wrong call by the refs. It is totally a slippery slope issue. Here is the thing. Similar thing happened in OK in 2014. Same ruling. They can’t FIX the mistakes. Can you imagine schools fighting a 3rd quarter call, or other not last second items? It would never end. Just improve the ref hiring process I guess. Or interview them better at PTA meetings.
- Brady is hurt and missed a practice. So, basically the same thing that has happened for the last ten years. Hurt, but will play. I think Belachick just loves to toy with fantasy football players across the nation. I was a Brady owner. I remember rolling my eyes at every reported “injury.”
- Well, I guess the good news about Virginia basketball destroying everyone is that they can figure out who on their bench will step up to help replace Austin Nichols. Everyone is getting minutes in Charlottesville.
- Listen, people who were drinking the Kool-Aid. IU basketball is on the comeback trail overall, but not this year. They are a solid Sweet 16 team in my opinion. I thought that before the Fort Wayne loss, but that sure didn’t help my opinion.
- Once I get the subscribers back, I need to find me a regular guest blogger. You all need a change up once a week, and I need a break here and there.
- Duke basketball grabbed the highest uncommitted player for 2017 (Wendel Carter). Ranked #6 before that and with two more in the hopper, we are destined for another year of UK and Duke being #1 and #2.
- The theme? Well, we have endured another run of bad Detroit football. Kind of fun to have them contending for their division again. Should be a fun game. Oh, and SINCE it is Thanksgiving, I am starting Stafford against Minnesota instead of Palmer against Atlanta…so make me PROUD, Matthew.
- That’s it for today. Hope you enjoyed or are at least more informed. Will I blog tomorrow? That is a CLOWN question, bro. Peace.
- Just a tagline-I will probably take the day off given the holiday. See you Friday…enjoy your Turkey.
- And THANK you for the readership. It is very much appreciated. As I have said, I would write this if NO one read it, but nice to know a good amount of people out there enjoy my dribble.
