• Greetings and salutations, people.  Thanks for coming aboard (the boat).  Quick hitter today as I am on a shorter flight to Oklahoma.  One sentence and one sentence only hooks again for most part and then my random thoughts on the Super Bowl.  Unedited, folks, so forgive grammatical errors.
• Rory won Dubai pretty handedly and you are in the minority if you think he is not getting another Major or two this year.
• If I am Mr. Suh, I think I hang in there with a coming into their prime ALL at the same time Lions roster.
• I hear the Jets are eyeing Revis for next year, and WILL say that since the strength of the defense of Bowles WAS the secondary positions.
• Djokovic won the Aussie, was classy in acceptance, and probably flew out to a clay court literally the day after to start practicing for the annual Nadal pasting of EVERYONE in his path.
• So, the Pats have all of this weird stuff (deflategate, videos) happen and now the Falcons are in trouble for fake crowd noise, confusing me because it obviously isn’t helping them win anything like it does with the Pats.
• Jace is a colleague of mine and when I was in CA last week I didn’t realize he was two jobbing it in a fake Tim McGraw band.  
• I will of course still go see the new Jurassic Park because I love dinosaurs, but I am curious about the plot as I would think at this point we should have learned that building dinosaur parks is bad for most parties involved.
• The cast lineup of this upcoming SNL 40 thing looks epic.
• I am being told there is some huge waterslide coming to Denver this summer on July 18^th…and this is just a reminder to me to be there in force.
• Billy Joel Denver tickets go on sale on Friday and this is a reminder to go see the master of the keys-WELL worth seeing him live.
• In case I haven’t passed it along, the “Box Trip,” money we stashed one more $1 a week under our bed, is Punta Cana on a KILLER deal my deal seeking fiancée found.
• Packing for a one day trip a day before a week long work trip is tough.
• Been a while since we can say that the Atlanta Hawks had THREE players in the ASG, and they are kind of complaining about another NOT making it.
• I get the Brees-Beckham catch record, but HOW they came together to do that still kind of confuses me.
• Caught my once a year Avs game, and got to watch them beat up on the best NHL team in the league-good stuff.
• I am pretty sure I saw something about Manziel checking into rehab before getting on the plane, but before I get TOO excited, I will wait to find out more.
• Cousins deserves to be in the NBA ASG, but kind of weird replacing an off guard with a monster inside.
• Basically, that was saying Kobe shouldn’t have been voted in.
• Kind of depressing when marathon runners are now regularly caught dopers.
• I thank the media for the information, but I really didn’t care about whether Aaron Hernandez was or was not able to watch the Super Bowl.
• I don’t feel like commenting on my Cavs losing to Duke, ok?
• They should have defended their home court to REALLY make a statement, and at least I didn’t have to listen to Duke homer Dick Vitale do the game.
• Hey, everyone with a Sirius car radio, either I drive the two hours the day after partying it up listening to my Winger and Dokken, or someone else can drive and I can nap.
• I keep replacing Cards against Humanity with Cards of Insanity-fun game by the way.
• In the Bill Simmons mailbag, a reader had a VERY good point that the Packers blowing that NFC Championship lead to Seattle was VERY similar to Mountain vs. Viper in Game of Thrones.
• Tiger Woods is missing cuts, out of the top 50, and coincidentally a 50-1 longshot to win his next event.
• Shame Maria Sharapova can’t figure out a way to consistently give Serena Williams a run.
• Shame Andy Murray is going to have like a million runner up finishes, but losses to the other three guys in the Big Four.
• Wisconsin is a very good basketball team that must be enjoying kind of being forgotten about presently.
• We walked into Einstein’s this weekend, they were out of BAGELS at 11am on a Saturday, and before we left I noticed that MY favorite, pumpernickel, was untouched with a full row.
• So, we went to Panera Bread (new to me) and I they put all THREE of our bagels with cream cheese on SIDE, which makes no sense when we were in the DRIVE through.
• Bettors lost more money than ever in 2014, and I am still glad I am retired.
• Peyton will make his decision “soon,” and he better so I can read about other sports things in the Denver paper.
• Hopefully as fast as Dan Quinn telling media that he wanted to let the players have the headlines for the Super Bowl, and I SWEAR his announcement of going to the Falcons was before dawn on Monday.
• Hmmm-everyone was jumping off the Cavs bandwagon EXACTLY like they did the first year of LeBron in Miami, and once again the team rounds into form just fine.
• To long of sentence of HOW I got the watch for Christmas, but let’s just say Lindsey’s parents ended up buying a sweet, SWEET watch that I hope never breaks.
• Some dudes have a watch SHELF, but I am a one watch guy.
• If a year or two from now you ask someone who Devonte Fields is, know he is football kid who went to TCU and who did some bad stuff and now is being given a second chance at Louisville.
• I went up to Winterpark to share a free condo, and we didn’t have a bad view of the mountain. I had never gone snow tubing, did Saturday night, and it was a blast. If you haven’t been, the location in Frasier is off the hook for the amount of runs you can get in.  Yes, there is an escalator that takes you back up the hill.  NOT a bad place to live near, aye?  
• Yes, your calculations are correct that I was up in Winterpark DURING the Cavs-Blue Devils game and I isolated myself in a bedroom during the game.
• My random thoughts on the big game:

I don’t care if he is the most prepared announcer on the block, the voice of Cris Collinsworth still haunts me.

If you haven’t seen the Marshawn Lynch-Richard Sherman SNL skit, you ARE missing out.

Yes, we have heard rumors, but I just don’t see how Marshawn Lynch walks away from that Seattle team.  They are not going anywhere down.

My pregame Super Bowl score prediction was pretty damn close if I may say so myself.

I think about the coin toss for the first Super Bowl, and we now have a FLEET of people out there these days.

In the first half, I admit to taking bathroom breaks during the game to not miss commercials.

My Super Bowl party on the couch was HAPPENING.  Not really.  But I enjoyed listening and watching the WHOLE game and felt great today.

Did the Camry commercial really bring in Ali lines as background?

I just NOW was told that is Kate Upton in those video game commercials.  Something about war and Warcraft.

All I said before the game started was BIG difference between being 4-2 and 3-3 in your career Super Bowls.

Seriously, this is unedited and might be a mess-on a plane and can’t see the total screen.

I have decided those Minions are pretty funny.

The Skittles arm wrestling commercial was just weird.

The bud puppy commercial was touching and cool.

I really can’t believe there is another Terminator movie coming out, but apparently, the body is some technological thing with someone much younger…at least that is what US Today told me in the pocket on the airplane seat.

Some of these commercials must assume I dropped acid before the game.

It is true that I still worked during the first quarter of the Super Bowl sadly.

I couldn’t believe that Carroll went for a touchdown near the end of the first half.

Apparently, I need to see Pitch Perfect 1 since the second one is coming out and I don’t know anything about it.

Katy Perry.  When does she change outfits?  How did that chess board look like that?  Once again, are the talking, smiling trees in background assuming I did bad stuff before game?  Was she really standing on that small stage?  Confused.

I can’t wait for Game of Thrones to start up again.

We are in the third quarter, and these commercials are just SAD.  Where is the funny stuff?

I am surprised that there wasn’t a new Salt n’ Pepper Push It commercial for the Super Bowl.

I laughed out loud during the Pete Rose “Hall” commercial.

If the Seahawks and Chris Matthews win, I expect an onslaught of Foot Locker commercials.

Jublia fungus medicine has $4 million to spend on Super Bowl commercials?

Ironically, I should probably get some for the ugliest feet in the civilized world.

I watched the first 8 Blacklist shows, and gave up since it had one fantastic character and a bunch of cheesy, fake stuff going on.

Brady down ten points, but I get feeling this is far from over.

Brady is like the Americans in Independence Day after the President’s speech about not going quietly into the night.

Beginning of fourth-really?  Repeat commercial already?

Wilfork is a monstrous human being.

There is a Ted 2 coming out?  Boom goes the dynamite.

What is amazing that although they are kind of a dynasty, EVERY Super Bowl with the Pats has NOT been a butt whipping.  They have been close.

Even with an injury, Richard Sherman was thrown at…like twice.

I am not sure if I am happy or mad about Brett Favre still being in commercials and other things.

Can we call that Kearse catch that just happened “Antonio Freeman Part II?”

The pass play when Marshawn Lynch was owning shit was bad no matter HOW you break down play clock and timeouts.

The fights breaking out afterwards were not about creating a new rivalry and more about classlessness.

I can’t believe “classlessness” is a word actually.

I wish I wasn’t so tired so I could bless this rant with a lot of pics.
