I don’t feel like organizing thoughts into hook, line, and sinker tonight.  Just getting my blog on quickly.

1.  I am so excited for the finals of the 200IM.  It is going to be epic.  Watch out for that Brazilian guy (ONLY entered this event-kind of cocky actually AND cool) and Hagino (who was in other semifinal).  One way or the other, go USA.  ONE of you two win, OK?
2. And I guess I have to turn everything off so I don’t find out who wins first.
3. Leah Smith, UVA grad and Steelers fan, might be sad she lost to Ledecky in an 800m heat today by NINE seconds and still made the finals, but EVERYONE pretty much lost by 9 or so seconds, so stand tall, girl.  Wahoowa.
4. What?  LeBron signed with the Cavs for a crazy amount of money?  Pinch me.
5. Going to Wnter Park this weekend for a quick getaway with friends.  Do not expect my typical blog schedule over the weekend.  I MAY get a lightning quick one before I leave tomorrow.
6. Fiji won gold in rugby and the U.S. got ninth.  Think about this.  Fiji has just less than the Austin population, and about 200k more people than Denver.
7. I wish I cared more about Justin Rose getting the first hole in one of the modern Olympics.
8. Alert, NYC.  The Diamondbacks just swept the Mets, and beat them badly in the last game.
9. No, A-Rod, you can’t play third base and just GO AWAY.
10. Either come back or don’t, Ray Allen.  And stop listing your possible teams.
11. I have a solution for Olympic sprinter/ Oregon football player Devon Allen.  Let’s just put hurdles ON the football field.
12. As anti-climatic as it gets.  Yay.  USA.  Simone Biles and teammate roll in the all-around.
13. YOU might not appreciate it, but I LOVE that Here I Go Again was chosen as the back to school song.

15. I continue to say the phrase uncontrollably “more to come” in many, many situations.
16. No, YOU can tell me what happened tonight in the Broncos PRACTICE with microphones, announcers, and television.

18. I think one of the reasons why I hate Melo so much is because he talks SOOOOOOO much and is on the wire SOOOOOO much.  Be quiet for a few days…or at least promise me a week of NOTHING after the Olympics.
19. I was depressed to NOT see this headline in the news today.  “Bad Check Rison.”  That is hilarious.
20. I keep meaning to watch Hard Knocks…and then forget.  I DO love that show though.
21. Jimmy Graham is back with the Seahawks to possibly be used wrong again this season.
22. I keep reading about Kristin Armstrong and keep being AMAZED.
23. I can’t BELIEVE Adrian lost the 100m freestyle for the USA.  We OWN that race.
