Neat stuff…
Thoughts for the day…let’s shoot maybe for February for the “daily blog template.”
- I am watching two good teams play in Notre Dame and Miami. The most fun thing about this game is the Jersey kid, Farrell, from Notre Dame. And I love Dicky V announcing of course. I count the time in between his random Duke references.
- The Blue Jackets ended up finally dropping a game as we know, but solid that A) they have continued to win 7 or 10, and B) the team that beat them (Caps) has won SEVEN straight.
- Justin Thomas, a name you most likely will have to Google, not only had a 59, is only 23, but HOW he finished was amazing. Out of the bunker to the green, and 15 foot eagle putt for the score. Wow.
- Bill Walton was just on TV for a quick interview. I think he actually talked about the Dead & Co. tour as much as the Conference of Champions.
- That tour hits Boulder…hmmmmmm…..yeah……possibly.
- I mean it would help me put my head around how Mayer is in that band now. Just need a little help understanding…
- The Nuggets should play in London ALL the time. 140? Guess their foreign born players feel the power over there.
- Adam Silver, I support your initiative. The NBA teams get too many timeouts. Please limit and make games shorter. Thanks.
- I tried to burn this head cold out at lunch at the YMCA. Don’t think it worked. I am am trying to fight this thing off. I have a Steelers game to go OUT for Sunday. I need to feel well.
- I do NOT feel well presently though. Not well at all.
- Moving day at work for our floor. I don’t mind sitting around new people. I DO mind not having the angle of the hallways to the kitchen and customer area like I did before to scan for free food.
- I hear it might have rained in San Diego today. Just an all around BAD 24 hours for that city. I hate to see that happen. Can’t IMAGINE my thoughts if the Steelers ever moved. I don’t have to ever worry about it, but just SOUNDS like it sucks.
- Talk about a bad 24 hours too. Knicks lose being up 10 with 2:29 left and then ESPN puts an article about trading Rose and Melo front and center.
- I assume it was a repeat episode, but BECAUSE we watched FOUR Stranger Things episodes last night and were up later, we caught some of Fallon. Fallon, Michelle Obama, Dave Chappelle, and Seinfeld were one of the oddest groupings for a game I have seen.
- So sad, although I never really get to listen to it anymore anyway. Mike & Mike will separate, it sucks, but what a great run those two gave us. You should read sometime about how they go paired up initially. Neat stuff.
- I just said “neat stuff.” What IS that? Have I EVER said that? I don’t think so. Interesting…
- Don’t get down on Butler losing last night to Creighton. They were at Creighton. Home team SHOULD win that one, and both teams will be slightly dangerous down the line.
- I just ordered an alarm clock on Groupon that wakes you up by yelling “Russell Westbrook had ANOTHER triple double!!!”
- $11. Not a bad price.

- The lack of questions to Elway ABOUT Wade was disturbing actually.
- Real Madrid just tied the Spanish record for not LOSING. If you don’t hear this story, it is because the run is 30 wins and TEN ties. Not exactly overwhelming. But…I guess it IS some neat stuff.
- You have to hand it to Shaka Smart. He has balls. Tevin Mack, a UT player, was suspended again this season for a violation of team rules. Why is it gutsy? The following three teams they play? #10, #1, #2. Mack is the leading scorer for the team.
