One day closer to Bourne…

No time for blog during the day.  Went to dinner with Lindsey’s family.  Catching 3rd period of Game 2 of NHL.  Speed version, one sentence hooks.  Come back for longer thoughts.  Let’s turn and burn.

1.  The Stanley Cup is the hardest team trophy to win, and best announcers in the four major sports are hockey by a LOT, baseball a distant second but still ahead by a lot over the next two, and NFL and NBA can tie for third and fourth.
2. And the hockey interviews are the classiest also by far.
3. I said the Warriors would have one of THOSE runs and win Game 7 and it was that and then some.
4. The Cavs are healthy and will match up better, but betting the Splash Brothers will feel out the best defensive matchups and learn to attack Irving to make him work hard at both ends.
5. And JR Smith can’t have a ring…just can’t.
6. Warriors in seven magnificent games.
7. Pens are up 1-0 in third, threatening a lot here, and the speed of both of these teams is SOOOO fun to watch.
8. It is 8:30 and I am tired, so stop reading if you want prizes or pics.
9. Joseph, your $20 went in the mail this morning.
10. I believe Margaery and Ayra are the rooks in the chess Game of Thrones, one is good and one is evil, and by calling them rooks, I am calling them POWERFUL and just waiting around for the good stuff.
11. I always win chess games with rooks.
12. I agree with Anthony that a good death for Ramsey would be by one of the two living wolves.
13. I have “pics” written down, but there are two many recently to post…especially since I said I am not posting pics.
14. Fixing a screen hole makes me just want to buy a new screen.
15. The Cubs lost their streak with Arrieta starting, but still…24 in a row is impressive as hell.
16. Can we PLEASE wait for Kevin Durant free agent talk until AFTER this Finals dream rematch?
17. Jim Harbaugh’s Twitter wars are fun, but sooner or later it is going to catch with him in some weird social media or end of game handshake.
18. I will still read them though…he has my attention.
19. Holy crap-San Jose just TIED it.  Boom.  Not rooting for them, but LOVE playoff hockey.
20. Yes, that was more than one sentence-I got excited.
21. Not sure why I wasn’t surprised that K-Rod had Zika, but I wasn’t.
22. One of our best American men, Isner, loses.
23. Venus loses and I am sad.
24. Looking who is left on the women’s side, I would be floored if Serena lost.
25. Looking who is left on the men’s side, I am sad to see of the two guys left that can take Djokovic, I am sad that only one can play him as they are on the other side of the draw.
26. Bob, apparently, I didn’t know what a pizza stone set was, but I am excited and have been sternly warned to not even put soap on the base.
27. The lull of the summer is coming when Lindsey actually gets to enjoy quality afternoons and evenings with me without sports…except for the weekend of the 29th when I will go see Bourne about 3 times that weekend.

30. I don’t tape Ninja Warrior, but feel like Bon Jovi should start singing over my shoulder as they played a preview during the show apparently I am told.
31. Overtaking Sancho’s on my local bar list is now officially Satellite Bar…if I go missing, I am there.
32. For Denver people, one of the best hidden treasures for festivals is the Chalk Art Festival, and Lindsey and I go every year.
33. Rain makes it kind of suck though.
34. You might find it is too early to think about college basketball, but UVA has a xfer from Memphis who was one of the top five recruits in the nation when he went there…and he has already sat out his year.
35. My cat is already lucky enough to have a gum disease that ONLY lets him eat soft food, but he now only eats like three types…snob.

39. Cafe Brazil in Highlands is delicious and uses a weird pooling system so you have 10 different servers, and it delays you from getting out of there by about 20 minutes because everyone has responsibility…and no one has responsibility.

41. You might think about how listening to local Bronco radio drives me nuts, but the last 4 days have been really special as everyone is freaking out about how good Northwestern grad Trevor Siemian is easily the best QB in workouts thus far…love it.
42. Shame we get hit with bad news (way high BAC) about an already depressing event with Will Smith.
43. Baylor football had the best recruiting class it has ever had last year, seven guys want out, and whatever the rules of texting and calling are for recruits and transfers, coaches are bending them about now.
44. Not editing this-my intern is out of town this week.
45. So, when do we find out who has the most STD’S or other stellar facts in the NFL with that stolen laptop in Indy?
46. Wasn’t that trainer a month or two late for the workouts?

52. Here is my idea…give more byes for the regular season winners, let less conference teams in the tourney, so let automatic bids happen, but like 5% of the time.
