Quick one today as I am on a plane tomorrow with plenty of time to spew my random thoughts…

What can I say?  Not sure about this being the biggest game of ALL time as off the top of my head I would throw Germany and Belgium years ago, and Mexico last year, and any game in 1994.  But, it is huge.  The best player (who still needs to win a Major international tournament by the way) on the best team on our turf in an international non friendly.  Wish the start time was earlier, but I LOVE these matches.  Go, U.S.  Prove the experts wrong.  Sorry, I am a HUGE fan, but seeing this going Argentina 2-0…maybe 2-1.

But, I hope beyond anything I am wrong.  And WILL be watching.

-EURO side note.  The FIVE most powerful and talented teams are all in the SAME half of bracket.  That is nuts.

DRAFT- I will have no soccer match going on during my flight-might dive into this during then.

DWIGHT-Opted out.  No one cares, but he is one of very few true big man centers in today’s game.  So, although we all pretty much concur he is an idiot, he DOES effect the power balance slightly in the league.

DIRK-Warriors say they are trying for him.  Says here he is just testing waters, redoing his contract, and ending up a Maverick.

KD-Warriors say they are trying for him (pretty depressing out West this week), but says here if he doesn’t get persuaded by hometown Wizards, he weighs Warriors and Spurs before realizing we can do this whole dance again next year…and him and Westbrook can finish what they started.

 

SINKER:
