- Greetings and salutations, people. Clearing the list on a Friday evening. Super speed version, one sentence hooks. Let’s move.
- The Lions cleared some execs, but on the field, I still find them confusing as hell with that skill position talent.
- Fielder deserved it too, but Matt Harvey not only coming back the long way, but coming back as one of the best is absolutely amazing.
- Seriously, are the Warriors going to keep winning like this all year?
- I can finally stop waiting for the blinding speed and moves of Dri Archer to appear, because it hasn’t thus far and now he is gone.
- I am glad Tomlin doesn’t automatically eliminate returners he has tried to trip during a game.
- Love the contract extension for Rick Carlisle, and if only they could give him one more full cabinet of in their prime talent to surround a not in his prime Dirk.
- Congrats to Duke, who got richer today with Harry Giles committing, and the sudden new Duke line of one hit wonders continues.
- Before you think that Baylor looked mortal last night with their new QB, remember K State ALSO only lost by a TD to TCU.
- Cincy beat Cleveland as expected, and as the trend goes with anyone playing Cleveland, we are not sure if we learned anything at all from the game.
- Tyler is a STUD though, and glad HE is on one of my fantasy teams.
- I am waiting another few days before breaking down the NBA start of the season….need a larger sample size still.
- The Mariners basically made a trade with lots of moving small name parts as they are probably getting tired of getting the big names and them underperforming.
- They have money, and need one guy to really fill out the rotation, so you can pretty much book David Price or Zack Greinke going to Chicago.
- Mariota will return this week, and nice that the brass fired their coach during the interim…sucks.
- I will let people who have full days and get paid write how horrible the Greg Hardy assault pictures were, but notice that Deadspin went in and snuck in their one major story of the last couple months where people say “how the HELL did little Deadspin get THAT pull???”
- These are the games I will partake in viewing tomorrow that I am excited about. BAMA over LSU as they make sure the playoff is as confusing as possible. TCU I think will beat OSU, but root for OSU if you would like the playoff to be as confusing as possible. Clemson will roll FSU I think in their last real game of the year pretty much, as they need to make a statement to carry them through the rest of the season. Michigan State will roll Nebraska, but after all of the Big Red’s heartache this year, shouldn’t we at least ROOT for them?
