The Seven.
WHO BARELY DIDN’T MAKE IT:
CU/CSU: I live here with no allegiance. No pick.
Nebraska/ Miami: Fun, old school matchup, but not touching it.
Cal/ Texas: Love the spread and think Cal will beat them by 14, but there WILL be a statement game for Texas.
South Carolina/ Georgia: We all know I love Georgia, but this is a HUGE 16.5 spread. Can’t touch it.
THE STRONG SEVEN (going to name it something with fishing once I have some time):
Georgia Tech minus 2.5 at Notre Dame: GTech continues the rumbles about being a possible playoff contender, and Notre Dame is beat up anyway.
Auburn plus 6.5 at LSU: Trust me. Auburn has LOOKED bad, but they are good. LSU is good too, but this will be a field goal game.
Penn State minus 9 at home vs. Rutgers: Penn State is MUCH better than you think, the QB WILL play like the #1 recruit he was at SOME point, and Rutgers is not exactly trying to win anything for a noble purpose.
Stanford plus 9 at USC: Love USC, but Stanford will play them close. Too good of team.
Temple minus 13.5 at UMASS: They are for real, people. New culture, new players, and they have it going on. UMASS is…UMASS.
Bama minus 7 at home vs. Ole Miss: Sorry, Ole Miss. Bama is going to regulate this by two touchdowns. When Bama loses, it will be on the road.
BYU plus 16.5 at UCLA: Am I getting sucked in the QB/ amazing play story? Maybe. But 16.5 is still a lot of points against a decent team.
Do with the knowledge what you want. Enjoy your Friday night. I will most likely talk with you Sunday. Peace.
