Busy week before a busier out of town week.
- It seems like a gamble that possibly can only let the little guys blow past their guys, but going big by the Thunder means IF they miss a couple shots here and there, the Thunder will get the rebound. Kanter and Adams were paired up nicely on the floor.
- Some nights the Warriors will just be HOT regardless, but pick and choose your battles and know you just need the majority of the seven games. Not like the Thunder are sweeping them. PICK YOUR BATTLES. You have minimally a split in the first two. Now you can try and be greedy.
- Do you realize that the OKC-GS series has the last three MVP’s and SIX of the last seven league scoring champions?
- Winning a Cup means you won a Cup. But, nice to see the leader of the Pens back it up finally in OT when they needed him. He won in 2009. Said it before and I will say it again. That winner of the Caps-Pens series will win it all. Go Pens. Nice OT goal, Sid.
- I watched some PAST slides by Mr. Odor and no wonder he got 8 games as a suspension.
- Maybe now that the Blazers have upped Stotts, they will let more of his players go away so he can have them overperform.
- Lindsey has “her” shows, and I don’t look up during Snapped or Dateline (some version always with a killer). But Penny Dreadful? That is a show I sometimes myself looking up and not necessarily during the nude scenes. That show is crazy.
- I don’t have time to break down GOT this week I don’t think (wedding reception this weekend). But let’s just say YES to things coming together much more quickly these days now that we are past the books, and assume Snow-Bolton warfare will be the finale for this season.
- Just saying. Astros have rebuilt FAST, and yet a JJ Watt charity softball game outdrew THIRTEEN of their games this season.
- Laith did Adele on The Voice and for the first time, I listened to an Adele song for the second time. Go Laith. Way to hit the other type of crowd.
- Looking at the score of the Cavs-Raptors in progress, it appears that LeBron didn’t totally accept the apology of Kyle Lowry for calling him “probably” one of the best.
- Nike agrees he is also probably one of them after hearing a billion dollars was thrown around.
- Since there is a logjam with their big guys, and even though Ben Simmons is technically a PF, I still think the Sixers should go for Brandon Ingram at #1. Simmons is the real deal, but never saw any fury from him this year. Take the open position pick and run with it…unless the Sixers are trying to have everyone in their starting lineup be bigger than 6’8″.
- Listen, people. New Zealand is a different culture. I believe Steven Adams when he says “little monkeys” out his way refers to kids/ little people. All good, dude. Just watch your US lingo.
