THIS is why I have a blog. Catch of the Day Take 2.

Short one.  Long one tomorrow or Thursday (woman is out of town).  I just watched the UK-Ole Miss bball game.  Heart-wrenching and I have NO sympathy for the underdog, who was playing AT UK.  Listen.  Recognize when you are not the better team out there, make some extra 3’s if you are lucky, cheer when they miss some free throws, and DON’T do the cool “don’t let them set up their defense” play when A) you have a chance to win before OT, and B) (unless I am mistaken but I don’t think I am) don’t call a freaking timeout when you have one TO down 3 in OT with the ball in your hands at the end of the shot and play clock.  GEEZ.  Smarts.  Cool.  No cramps to your star player (ok-failed that one), no turnovers, and more smarts WIN against the better team on the road.  Fire that Ole Miss coach.  Your players kept you in the game and your stupidity gave you no chance at the end.  You had your chance two points AND three points down to run some crazy play no one believed you could pull off in high school or college.  Lower tier teams win against better teams by trying shit and not being scared.  Get your own blog.  I feel better from releasing for a bit.  Ugghhh.

I don’t even care about Ole Miss or UK.  I just am a college basketball junkie.  Ugghhh again.

(Yes.  I am still impressed that Kentucky faced a loss in the face and the youngsters stepped up.)
