Unanimous.
HOOK:
“Curry.”
-Steph Curry was named the first unanimous MVP in the history of the NBA. Think about names who didn’t do it. Sure, some not because they were competing against each other, but James and O’Neal came the closest, but still short. Tom Brady and The Great One were only guys in other sports. Not counting baseball as they do both leagues (still only 17). Curry is only player to average 30 points in less than 35 minutes a game. He broke his own three point shooting record of 286…by 116 three pointers. He is one of three players in history to shoot 50% , 45%, and 90%. We could go on and on. His basketball skills were obvious at Davidson, but NO one thought he could take over the league like he has.
-Wish I could say I stayed up and watched the amazing OT last night of his, but I didn’t and didn’t tape it. Ugghhh.
-Need to write this quickly so I can go get ready for Spurs-Thunder Game 5.
LINE:
“Harper.”
WHY, Bryce, do you get to a time where people are starting to come around, and then get kicked out of a game, come out to celebrate a win, and mouth off to the umpire? Sounds like stuff I would do. Basically, maybe he is me with mad, world class baseball skills.
I get wanting to be secure and hang out in the nation’s capital for a few years, but tell me again why the Nationals chose THIS week to lock up their underachieving pitcher, Strasburg? Could have waited on this…
SINKER:
“Lightning.”
How DARE you win 4-1 in your series when every other series is going 6 games or longer? GREAT round of Stanley Cup playoffs.
THE RIVER:
-I could say I like the Kings hiring of Joerger, but why would we believe he is going to work out after the last couple years of hires? We might even say that we ALMOST feel sorry for DeMarcus Cousins….nah.
-I don’t think Calipari was taking a shot at Coach K, but love the gamesmanship.
-Behind of The Voice this week, so no comments on that.
-I find it weird that the ONE city that doesn’t need an influx of money might get an NFL team. Pretty sure some other locations would do better with that, but…we ARE talking about the Raiders.
-I personally am a Tom Brady fan, as most of you know. But, for you haters, I think the fact that his $200 cookbook already sold out at least gives you another reason.
That’s it. Will I blog tomorrow? That is a CLOWN question, bro. Peace.
